Upgrading tomato grafting nurseries in the Canary Islands
Knowledge transfer agreement signed in 1999. Hishtil provided two nurseries in the Canary Islands with advanced production means and supplied professional guidance for the production of grafted tomato seedlings.
Construction of melon grafting nurseries for Unido in Guatemala and Honduras
In 2001, Hishtil provided 11 grafting production units for melons – 6 in Guatemala and 5 in Honduras – with means of operation. Developing the use of grafted vegetable field in these countries was aimed at providing the farmers with an alternative to soil disinfection with methyl bromide. Hishtil guided the farmers in operating the systems and growing the transplants.
Long-term nursery guidance contract – Sad Gigant, Russia
Hishtil planned and constructed the Sad Gigant nursery in Russia in 2007 and provided production and operation protocols. Based on the signed agreement, Hishtil continues to guide and train the nursery staff in an ongoing manner.
Long-term nursery guidance contract - Agriplant, Greece
The Agriplant Nursery in Thessaloniki, Greece was planned and constructed by Hishtil 2000.
The nursery produces regular and grafted vegetable seedlings for the local market in Greece and for neighboring Balkan states.
