Stevia rebaudiana

This is a shrubby perennial with upright growth habit, green foliage, and a mass of tiny white flowers. It grows up to 50cm (20") high and spreads to 40cm (16") wide. The plant is native to Paraguay.

Stevia has sweet leaves and is commonly used as a natural substitute for sugar. It is also a great flowering item.
